Autumn

If you were to tell me years ago that I’d be invited out to LA to stay in an Airbnb & meet some of the most talented & creative minds ever, I would’ve laughed at you & told you to stop playing with me. But that’s exactly what would end up happening, & that’s where this record would begin for me. My friend & exceptional rapper Masethemessiah would approach me about being on a track he was working on, & I was honored. I worked on my verse immediately, & pretty much finished it before I left. However, my performance anxiety & overall nervousness made it impossible to record it there. So, once I returned home, Yugen Blue (producer & engineer extraordinaire) would send me the track to record my verse for him to mix.

Some time would pass, & Yugen would inform me that they decided to just give the track to me, which really meant a lot to me. To entrust me with a song that they had asked me to be a part of felt really cool, & i’m glad it came together the way it did.
